This temperate rain forest is a natural barrier to enemies on Kumo's northern perimeter. It is a labyrinth of trees on the rocky slopes of the outlying foothills and mountains surrounding Kumo unless one knows the way through it is almost impossible. The canopy of the Chiroptera forest is almost always completely hidden by thick storm clouds that come from the coast and are forced to stop drenching the forest with heavy rains. The Koumori clan of Raikou make they're homes in the tree tops in this fast forest, protecting the forest and making sure no enemy's can pass on and attack Kumogakure.

The location of both the Kumogakure Medical Department and the village hospital, taking the shape of the hospital building in front facing the street with the medical department complex attached to the back of the hospital and stretching up and somewhat into the nearest mountain in the village, forming a large structure for medical research, the teaching of medical techniques and medical knowledge, and the treatment of patients (with the latter being specifically in the hospital), along with offices for higher-up medical personnel in the section of the department at the highest point of the building on the side of the mountain.

The peaceful suburban valley portion of the Hidden Cloud Village, it lies on the northern slope of Mount Kumo and is literally cut into its' rock. It has multiple levels and offers room for not only residential and markets but also has gardens parks; the Raikou district opens out on the western side to include sections dedicated to clan settlements.

This is were all the generations of Kumogakure shinobi are trained in the ninja way, the academy is state of the art and boasts some of the best training equipment for they're students use. The place is frequently used by shinobi to meet and make shinobi squads or to train using the various sparing areas both in the academy and outside of it.

The steep crags of Mount Kumo's south have wild creatures and planted bandits that offer the administrative quarter of the village protection along with the natural barrier of the steep jagged terrain, also this area is patrolled and monitored by Kumo's ninja forces, it makes entering Kumo from the south almost impossible without permission to do so.

The office and headquarters of the Kumo village council and the Raikage, it is perched on the steep slopes of Kumo mountain...

Kirigakure is not for the weak, as the countless screams heard in the academy testify. Despite the gloomy environment, all who seek to get stronger, either in ability or rank will pass through here. Those who survive initial training form teams from those left alive

Kiri has several entrances, and all are deadly to their enemies. Each location is guarded by masters of stealth, assassination, and terrorization. Kirigakure’s teams will usually come here and brief themselves just before embarking on a mission.

The rising Januken Clan has made their home on a mountain east of the main village hub. There is a path starting in the center of the Valhalla District that leads to the temple doors. The fabric of time undergoes several interesting phenomena inside the sanctuary. The temple is surrounded by a living complex, with the Januken crest flying high and proud at the entrance. The temple complex is open to all of Kirigakure who seek the wisdom of the Priests and Priestesses of the clan.

The center of Kirigakure is a veritable stronghold where myriads of shinobi meet, train, and live. The towering walls, abundant supply of water, and vast storage vaults make this one of the best places to hold out against any siege

Here is the outer ring of Kirigakure’s territory closed to foreign shinobi. Several groups of housing and the various shops provide an efficient if not gloomy environment for the ninja of Kirigakure to interact. Those not of Kirigakure will find themselves subject to an inexplicable fear for life.
